While I was never a fan of the Wallace and Gromit shorts, it is hard not to love Aardman Studiosí first full length feature Chicken Run. Still, itís always a bit of a frightening prospect to sit through a feature length film based on an idea originally intended as a short piece (think of pretty much any SNL movie for example).

Fortunately, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit turns out to be a very fun ride. While not as hysterically funny as Chicken Run, itís still pretty damn funny with plenty of good crude jokes that will fly over the heads of the kids while tickling the parents.

There is something truly wonderful about the claymation used in Aardmanís films and I hope we will get to see even more of their work in the future. After both this and the wonderful Corpse Bride, audiences are experiencing a real treat of stop-motion animation recently. Itís too bad these films take so long to produce and we have to wait such a long time in between.
